Is this a replacement for our team chat?
It can be. MAX Teams has channels, DMs, threads, mentions and reactions. The difference is that MAX is a member of the room and can take on the work being discussed.
Can everyone see everything?
No. Roles and per-person switches decide who sees which channels, data and powers. Private workspaces stay private, and sensitive actions are recorded in an audit log.
What can MAX do when I mention it?
Answer from your team's shared knowledge with sources, draft documents and replies, run research or analysis, and plan a job, doing its own part and assigning the rest in the Work panel.
How do people join?
An admin invites them by email and picks their role. The invitation activates on first sign-in; there is no public sign-up.
